From the beginning, I knew I wanted to incorporate a touch on the X and Y while putting her tagline in between them. Each variation stemmed from that. So from there, it was just trial and error to find the perfect typeface for the logo and which kind of illustration to include that would represent the 'o' in the design. Getting the kerning correct was also a challenge, but I believe it worked out. 

      I wanted the logo to be scalable, and, most importantly, legible, since most beauty salons/businesses tend to lean towards a more scripted type, which truthfully can be hard to read sometimes. I wanted it to hold these traits and be elegant, clean, and balanced.
