Café Mauro

Café Mauro is a Portuguese café located in my hometown. It's a small business on the main road and near other points of interest, such as the town library, high school, and across a very popular Dunkin'. With that said, it's safe to say that many eyes meet this business, which is why I chose to remake the logo.

My initial thoughts for the original logo was that it was a little over the place. The typography was unbalanced and many elements served little to no purpose, particularly the coffee cup, which one could consider cliché.

Overall, the original design had no synergy, and many details clashed with one another. These points are why I wanted to rebrand this logo, to make it look much more clean, balanced, and professional.
